Every Off-Leash Dog Park in Tulsa (Hours, Quirks and Directions)

Joe Station, Biscuit Acres, Route 66 Dog Park, the two membership parks, and the leashed-only options like Gathering Place. The full Tulsa list in one place.

Recent from the Bugle

Tulsa's rule is simple: dogs must be leashed in every city and county park and along River Parks unless you're inside a designated off-leash area. Here are all of those areas, plus the leashed-only places worth knowing.

City off-leash parks (free)

Joe Station Bark Park

2279 Charles Page Blvd. Open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Separate small- and large-dog areas, benches, shade and evening lighting. The after-work park. Directions →

Biscuit Acres Dog Park (Hunter Park)

5804 E. 91st St. Open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays for maintenance). Fenced, with water fountains, kiddie pools in summer, benches, shade and digging mounds. Hunter Park also has fishing, disc golf and a splash pad, so it works as a whole-family outing. Directions →

Route 66 Dog Park at Gunboat North Park

1122 S. Frankfort Ave. Open 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Small, shaded, with skyline views and a dog mural. Good for a quick downtown-adjacent run. Directions →

Brush Arbor Grove (coming October 2026)

102 N. Main St. in the Arts District. Turf, small- and large-dog sections, locking gates and lights. Read our preview →

Membership dog parks

Tails & Ales

1903 S. Boston Ave. Dog park and bar with a coffee counter and a wash station. Day pass $10. Bring DHPP, rabies and Bordetella records on your first visit. Hours: 3 to 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Directions →

Fetch Social Club

728 S. Wheeling Ave. Indoor and outdoor play supervised by trained staff, which makes it the best option for a first-timer or a nervous dog. Day passes $10 weekdays, $12 weekends. Requires rabies, DHPP, leptospirosis and Bordetella. Directions →

Leashed only, but worth it

Gathering Place

2650 S. John Williams Way. Dogs are welcome on the main pathways on Dog Play Days: Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., leashed at all times. Three days a week as of this year, up from two.

Tulsa Botanic Garden

3900 Tulsa Botanic Drive. Second Saturday Dog Day each month lets dogs walk the garden on a non-retractable 6-foot leash (two dogs per household, current vaccinations). Regular admission for people, free for dogs, and a pup cup at the visitor center while supplies last.

Park manners, Tulsa edition

  • Bring your own water; shared bowls spread giardia.
  • No puppies under 16 weeks or dogs behind on vaccines.
  • Watch the gate. Most scuffles happen in the first five minutes.
  • Pick up every time. A dirty park is how a park gets closed.
